Ever feel like you're wandering without direction? That overwhelming sensation of not knowing where you're going while everyone else seems to have it figured out?

Think about your favorite book. The most compelling stories aren't the ones where everything flows seamlessly from beginning to end. They're the ones with transitions, plot twists, and moments where the main character has to figure things out. The space between chapters isn't empty. It's where the real transformation happens.

Life transitions feel uncomfortable because we're wired to crave certainty. When you're between jobs, relationships, or life phases, your brain interprets this as danger. But what if these in-between moments aren't setbacks? What if they're setups for your next breakthrough?

Consider this: every successful person you admire has been exactly where you are right now. They've had moments of uncertainty, career pivots, relationship changes, and complete life overhauls. The difference isn't that they avoided the confusion. It's that they learned to trust the process of becoming.

Your chapter break might look like: leaving a job without knowing what's next, ending a relationship that wasn't serving you, moving to a new city, or simply feeling restless in a life that looks good on paper but doesn't feel right in your soul. This is not being lost. This is being human. This is growth in real time.

how to apply this...

Journal your transition. Write about what this in-between phase is teaching you. What patterns are you noticing? What do you actually want versus what you think you should want?

Embrace the pause. Use this time to reconnect with your values, interests, and goals. Sometimes we need to stop moving to remember which direction we actually want to go.

Trust the timeline. Your path doesn't need to make sense to anyone else. Some chapters are longer than others, and that's perfectly normal.

rememeber this...
You're not behind in life. You're exactly where you need to be for who you're becoming.
