"You've survived 100% of your worst days, that's a pretty good track record."

When you're in the middle of a terrible day, it feels like it might never end. Like this time might finally be the thing that breaks you for good.

But here's a fact that anxiety and depression don't want you to remember: your track record for surviving difficult days is literally perfect. Every single worst day of your life - you made it through. Every heartbreak, every loss, every crisis, every moment when you thought you couldn't handle one more thing - you handled it.

This isn't luck. This isn't coincidence. This is evidence of a strength you carry but rarely give yourself credit for. You have built-in resilience that has never failed you, even when everything else did.

Think about the worst days you've experienced. The ones that felt impossible to survive. Yet here you are, reading these words, having made it to the other side of every single one. Some days you crawled through. Some days you barely held on. Some days you needed help from others. But you made it.

Your worst days taught you things that your best days never could. They showed you what you're capable of enduring. They proved that you're stronger than you knew. They demonstrated that even when you can't see the way forward, you find one anyway.

The next time you're facing something that feels insurmountable, remember your statistics. You're undefeated when it comes to getting through hard times. That's not a coincidence - that's your superpower.

how to apply this...

Keep a survival inventory. Write down three difficult periods you've survived. Include what you learned and how you're different now because of them.

Use your track record as evidence. When facing new challenges, remind yourself: "I've never failed to get through a hard day. This one won't be the first."

Celebrate your resilience. Stop treating survival as the minimum requirement. Getting through difficult times with your values intact is an achievement worth acknowledging.

rememeber this...
Your perfect track record for surviving hard days isn't luck - it's proof of your unbreakable strength.
